Default Henrik Larsson to Everton or spurs?

Everton and Tottenham line up move for Henrik Larsson

Quote:
Henrik Larsson is being linked with a move to Everton or Tottenham after a series of bitter rows with Helsingborg chairman Sten-Inge Fredin.

Wanted man: Sweden's Henrik Larsson

The former Manchester United striker, 37 next month, is also wanted back at his old club Celtic but is reluctant to risk marring the memory of his achievements at Parkhead. Feyenoord are believed to be slight favourites for his signature.

Everton yesterday completed the one-year loan signing of Red Star Belgrade midfielder Segundo Castillo and Inter Milan's Nigeria winger Victor Obinna also agreed a season-long temporary stay.

He really should have stayed with us after that loan. He is a family guy and i respect that as his reason though.

Maybe he is too old to return to united. He is a great character though and his experience really lifted the squad.

We all know what kind of player Larsson is, but I'm afraid he's too old for PL. Nowadays, experience is not the only thing that counts, you gotta have fresh feet and a lot of energy to cope.

DC, even if he would have stayed, he wouldn't have played for more than 1 or 1.5 seasons.

He is class personified and can still do a job. He is in remarhable nick for a 37 year old cos he looks after himself.
If you have any doubts that he cant do it, check out this goal he scored the other week against the French.

Not sure if he will come to United or if he is even the answer (we need Berbatov) but I would still be happy if he came back. Class act.

Default Henrik Larrson

There is a rumour going around that Everton are right on the brink of signing him for the seasom !!

I wont be happy if they do - we shouls have grabbed him if he was available !

He's a superb player, uses his brain so much he can last beyond his 40th birthday easily I think.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie hasn't got him to be honest ...

Just as a safety net in case the Berba thing goes belly up !

I hope so .....

We should absolutely sign Larrson even if we sign Berbatov. Larrson is pure class, and I'm sure the price would be a bargain for the assurance he would give us.

Sorry, but I don't know why people want Larsson here.

The last time, he was just a stop-gap signing. He's well past his best, and I wouldn't be happy if we signed him.

I want him as bench cover for an emergency only. Obviously the deadline has passed, but if we didn't get Berbatov, or anyone else, I would have felt better knowing we had experienced cover on the bench with Larsson.
