Default Dos Santos English move

United should still be cheeky and meet his release clause. Believe it's less than 20 million pounds.

Overkill to requirements? definitely.

However, this kiddie is a beast and I'm really surprised that this buyout is so low. Obviously with the next contract he signs, it is going to go up... A LOT!

Quote:
Giovani dos Santos is ready to shun Chelsea, amongst others, and stay with Barcelona.

The brilliant young Mexican is the latest graduate of the Barca youth system to be targeted by the Premier League's big-hitters.

The likes of Cesc Fabregas, Fran Merida, Gerard Pique have all left Barca to sign pro-contracts in England in recent seasons.

However, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United, Man City, Arsenal and Tottenham all ready to offer Giovani huge money to switch, the 18-year-old is set to stay loyal to Barcelona.

The Mexican-born ace, who was recently granted Spanish citizenship - making him eligible to play in England which triggered the interest - has come through the youth ranks at Camp Nou and is now a member of the first-team squad.

Staying put

Giovani is adamant that he is more than happy to sign a new deal at Barca.

"Besides that I have seen that several English teams are interested in me I want to stay at Barcelona and I am already in negotiations for signing my new contract," he said.

"I have always wanted to stay at Barcelona and play in the first team. I come from the youth system of Barcelona and I admire this club so much.

"Barcelona has given to me absolutely everything since I have arrived here.

"This is my first season with the first team and I am in satisfied at being able to play some minutes in a team with players that have a great quality."

Giovani is full of praise for Frank Rijkaard - who has handed him his first-team debut.

"I am thankful to the coach who trusts me," he said.

"I also thank him for giving me the chance of playing some minutes this season.

"I work and train hard everyday and show the coach that I am ready for when he thinks it's necessary."

i think he has great potential, but im not sure if there will be room for him in our side. and im sure he would want a first team place.

maybe we will go for him anyone, just because its too good an oppertunity to be missed.

here you go princess... thanks for trying to show me up though...

Taken from a Ronaldinho fan website. The official source is from sport.es. The part about SAF being at Nou Camp is in bold and in red and nice and big just for you dada...

Ronaldinho Gaucho returned with more desire than ever

Ronaldinho returned to later play yesterday in the Camp Nou eighteen days. Then, the 19 of September, the Brazilian also was replaced. He faces was the Olympique de Lyon and Frank Rijkaard decided to loosen to Iniesta in his place in minute 66 to reactivate the party. The Brazilian abandoned the area of game between crestfallen and refunfuñando. Almost 20 days later, yesterday, the blaugrana star returned to shine smile in its return. Although as the equipment accused the physical wearing down in the second part, its presence was let notice in the eighty minutes that played before the technician commanded to him to rest and gave entrance to the man which they say is his I trace, Giovani two Saints.

Shared in common assets and with the companions, the gaucho acted of left end and participated in the manufacture of the second goal doing an impressive wall with Messi in as soon as a meter of space. The Argentinean, in perpetual gust of wind, could not more than to indicate in his celebration and to dedicate to him the goal to him to which is one of the companions of the clothes with which it is in tune more. All it happened in minute 19, but already before the Brazilian had harvested many applause. In fact, nothing else to leave. The Barça yesterday returned to normality, with Carles Puyol shining the captain bracelet and leaving the first, and with Ronaldinho closing row and jumping to the turf with its habitual sprints. Also, as it accustoms, one of its companions was embraced to all and each before Iturralde González marked the beginning of the party.

With Seitaridis of personal bodyguard and Sir Alex very kind Ferguson in the theater box, Ronaldinho gave to the public driblings marks of the house, was associated with Messi in the second goal and few minutes later, after an escape by the band, the first ovación of the launching slip took, that cocriminal its name with insistence and permission of Messi, without ceiling of the Barça. Also in minute 29, when an extraordinary attendance was invented course to Thierry Henry or when, shortly after, it was allied with Deco to make his first and only chut to door of afternoon that was turned aside nearly.
