Benzema on way to Old Trafford? *spoilers* - Page 8

Of course we want Benzema, but I doubt he's coming. We have Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, etc. all under contract and our payroll must have some limitations. I think Tevez is doing very well for us and his work rate is amazing, he hustles back and makes defense plays, so the people that are still lukewarm on him aren't appreciating him enough for me. Are we going to sit Tevez if Benzema comes? I know Rooney won't be on the bench. I don't see this happening.

The only possibility to me would be make Anderson more defense and have Benzema be very offensive as Scholes is placed as a big game player and not so much of a main stay.

Yea, I agree. I'm sort of split on this issue because Benzema is a dream signing and exactly what we need, but Tevez doesn't even get that many games right now as it is and with Benzema here, the rotation might get awkward and force someone out. As much as I do love Tevez though, I suspect we would be better off if we sold Tevez and got Benzema, but I know we won't do that.

Also, with Benzema here, Ronaldo would be playing on the wings more, as opposed to be used as a striker. I don't know whether thats good or bad though.

I would rather get a low profile palyer whose talents would yet be unknown to the world like our new Angolian striker (I don't remember his name :-)). Also, Tevez hasn't been given enough time to shine. All palyers need games to be consistent, yet he has done very well so far.

he would be a quality signing, but i just do not see it as extremely necessary. while it would be nice to add some depth up front, i feel like we could use a little backup in the defense before we start buttressing the front end.

I doubt SAF will sign him this summer. We got 2 young striker in Rooney and Tevez.

And they are amazing too

But if Benzema can play the palymaker like Scholes then

why not SAF signs him. But we got Anderson...arghh I'm confused.

well for me, if he comes where will saf put him?? i dont think he gona rest rooney or tevez...

Now with the 4-5-1, tevez is on the bench.. so why bringing him, while he might not even be on the bench...

Think we must look players which would play in defence instead of forward players for now...

I agree, we should be more focused on bringing some back players. With Anderson, Nani, Hargreaves and Manucho joining Man Utd this year, we got enough forward and midfiled players.

To talk about Benzema, he may have exploded this season, I don't think he could compete against Rooney, Tevez or Ronaldo.
