Player ************** Club ************** Report

Adam Eckersley ************* Port Vale ****************** Here

I personally don't expect this to be large, but we should have it none the less.

Here's how we'll do this section.

Only confirmed buys and sellings of players go in there. All rumours and initial reports you can make a seperate thread as usual for discussion.

Related pics/vid of said player that is bought or sold can be put up in here.

That's it. If the number of transfers made by United increase beyond 5 or a major transfer occurs, we'll start up a winter transfer discussion thread, where all the debate can take place.

Port Vale complete Eckersley deal

Port Vale have completed the signing of defender Adam Eckersley on a free transfer from Manchester United.

The 22-year-old left-back recently had a short loan spell at Vale Park, making just two appearances before picking up a knee injury.

"It's a new thing for me. I have been at Manchester United since I was nine years old," he told Vale's website.

"I believe we have got a good chance of staying up in League One and I am happy to be back. It is a good club."
