I knew it was going to happen, but I really wanted him to be a success at United.

Keano will give Richardson the platform to be a success and I have no doubt in my mind that he will be.

I have to admit i did a little dance when i saw this.

I know you're a hardcore Richardon-ite Funky but i definitely don't think he had the required quality to be at United. Maybe he does for a team aspiring for a top 10 finish.

Oh yeah, i won't forget our little bet on City's finishing position this year!!!

I will go to my grave saying he did have the quality to succeed at United. He just put too much pressure on himself with the limited appearances he got. Didn't help that the majority of United fans didn't suppport him.

Once he gets regular week in, week out playing time, you'll see the true form of him.

alright here is something i predict.

He will be a great success at sunderland because thats his level. I also expect people to point out "See. How good he is!!!!"

. But I am already expecting this, we have to face it he found his level at West Brom and he will succeed at that level. He was never good enough for us, just a decent back up.

He wasn't even a decent backup IMO. He frequently gave away possession, missed too many opportunities in front of goal and was an overall liability for us.

dimz take easy on funk, nothing you'll say will make him change his mind. that said, you have to wish him all the best. He did have moments in his young career that showed the possibility.

any ideas on when his first start will be for the black cats?

i can't get over him stealing that rooney goal. i really can't

Ok, i'll stop Funky! In all honesty, i'll cheer vehemently for him at Sunderland cuz i want them to do well.

Keano might get Baines too! Now THAT would be a coup. Is it just me or does anyone else think he's just about 3rd in the pecking order for England LB?
