snowing in NYC, big heavy ice encrusted snowflakes. wind is picking up, but if you're tucked away in a corner and facing St. Patrick's Cathedral, it's actually quite nice.

It is supposed to be winter already for a month here but it has been more like cold autumn. It has been pretty much same for the last couple of weeks. Around 0C and some rain or snow. TBH I kinda like this kind of weather, I don't have to go skiing with this kind of weather. Still, it would be nice to have some "real" winter here as well. This autumn-like winter is not right.

Its quite mild here (Toronto), but the snow has been falling. On the weekend we got 2 feet, last night/this morning 2 feet. And I"ve just gotten a text from my dad saying we're getting a foot and change this weekend.

You know, I use to think that global warming was playing a significant part around here, with little to no snow through the last 3-4 winters. I think mother nature has heard my glee and is punishing me and the city.

My back is sore.

It is 64 degrees here (San Diego). The skies are clear and the sun is out. A great day to watch a match or play in one.

.....Global warming is still playing a major role in this. There were storms down south that inflicted quite a bit of damage, e.g. in Tennessee. A number of people died too. This snow storm is all part of the same system. So, rest assured that you are innocent. Your prayers did not have anything to do with all this. It is all global warming.

No, that is actually about right. We haven't gotten snow in Toronto of this magnitude and frequency in about 5 years. The amount of snow TOronto has gotten this season equals the amount of snowfall the past 3 or 4 years. Combined!!! A good thing? Sure, if you have a snow blower. I don't
