Talking Worst Vehicle You've Driven/Worst Vehicle You've Ridden In - 11-27-2007, 02:14 AM

Thought this would make an interesting thread.

Please try to post a picture of the make/model if you can find one.

As for myself:

Driven:

1984 Dodge Aries that had been bagged, driven hard, been in a few accidents and had radiator problems.

Closest pic I could find.

Ridden in:

Chevy Citation. (Unsure on year). One of my coworkers had it and gave me lifts home from time to time.

It slipped out of gear randomly, lost control if you braked too hard and the power steering didn't work.

Best part? Citations normally go for around $150 - $200 (because they're pieces of crap). She bought hers for $500 and her idiot boyfriend convinced her they could sell it for $1000 if they put a good stereo system in it.

Wait...it's called the Citation?

this one is fairly easy to be honest. my family when we came to the US had one of these for a bit - we've never been the same since:

a friend of mine also had this shitbox:

hole in the floor and the steering wheel came off the column once when we were going at 60 miles an hour. He lucky had a leatherman on him and was able to grab hold of the steering column bolt and steer off to the side. I think he ended up selling the car for 300 bucks to some 16 year old. poor kid didn't see it coming.

Sorry no pictures, but my dad had one of those pintos that would explode if you hit it behind.

My friend also had this crazy Chevy Nova that he modified heavily and he got 3 mpg, lol.

Only ever driven two cars as I'm 15 so can't really decide between them. Worst I've ridden in would have to be some cheap american hire care, did the job when transporting us around, but was far from luxurious

I had an awful MERCURY MOUNTAINEER as a rental in Las Vegas like 10 years ago. It took speed bumps with the comfort of rolling off the top bunk bed onto the floor. All this time later and members of my family still recall that awful car when we hit a big bump.
