Anyone else here watches or plays tennis?

I like to play tennis, it is fun. I used follow the big tournaments and tennis overall too but not anymore. Just haven't got time to do all.

i played last night in the rain on the single best court in downtown manhattan. Two hours of rain soaked pleasure. I used to be pretty into it in HS, but in college and now as an adult, time and a good enough playing partner both escape me.

I watch tennis but don't play . In high school they had tennis courts and it looked easy to me. I decided to give it a try , I served and the ball hit high on the fence that was about 10 ft behind the court ( I was aiming for the box of course ) . After that I decided its a bit harder than I thought and never got into it too much... lol

table tennis is more my thing

I don't like to watch it anymore - boring.
Like to play with my three friends because after match we end up playing cards and drinking lots of beer.
So, to be perfectly honest, tennis is quite interesting, or better post match analysis with beer.

I watch wimbleton, but have to admit if its a world cup or european championship year I just can't take the tennis seriously. I look at the court and think, take down that net, throw down a couple of "jumpers for goalposts" and have a match on a really small pitch!

Mostly only when Novak Djokovic, Ana Ivanovic or Jelena Jankovic play, but wometimes when I have spare time I like to watch it, it`s not amusing as football, but it`s still great.
