Default Any Cricket Fans here ? - 07-07-2007, 12:31 PM

I do not love the game but I don't mind it either. If the game starts to get boring then yes its a real pain in the ass as it is 10hr long . But if its exciting its a treat

aye!! I love the game, course the Windies are taking the piss at the moment, but we're young so hopefully we'll get the management side of things in order and have a bright future again.

Zaffo what r u? Batsman, Bowler, All-rounder?

This should help.....

Quote:
You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.

When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.

When a man goes out to go
in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay all out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.

When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those
who are not out, that is the end of the game!
Simple!

Little of both, though more a bowler who can bat (at times).

I used to play indoor cricket also back in the day, did like squad stuff competed in tournaments around my region. Then I quite

Yeah i'm just about the same, a bowler who can bat. I bowl off-spin, used to bowl pace (haha, how much pace am i really talking about here, lol) but recently i've been feeling pain when i try that, so i'm back to spin. I love fielding though. Point, Cover, Forward Short Leg, Square leg, my favourite positions.

Yeah I bowl left arm china-man

Though can bowl alittle of everything if needed, I have opened the bowling with my little mediums and they get wickets

Feeling is good, My prefered positions are slips, gully and cover. I hate anything on the onside for some reason. With square leg being the worst postion.
