wtf. i don't even know what he's complaining about or even saying. god he's such a pathetic excuse for a football player.

as for the giants, i commend their defensive line for stepping up and keeping the pressure off of their secondary. not that they really deserved the win, it's more that dallas deserved it less. What's the record for the most penalty yards given up in a playoff game? I'd imagine that Dallas was close to it.

On Eli Manning. Some of those last drives were pathetic. I would not be confortable having him as my quaterback.

Dallas' playcalling was pathetic. I'm pretty certain Jason Garrett's stock nosedived last night. As for not giving TO the ball more, don't forget he was returning from an injury. He didn't look 100%.

Then again, neither was Antonio Gates, and look what he did for the Chargers.

He was telling the press to lay off of Romo after all the talk leading up to the game about Romo's taking a few days during their bye week to head to Mexico. Basically, it wasn't all Romo--it was a team loss. And he's right.

Knowing his history, yeah, he's a bit of a nutter, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that last night. There's always a chance the guy is maturing--some people do that later than others. He's still one hell of a receiver, though.

Dallas had 11 penalties for 84 yards. The records for number of times flagged and penalty yardage are 17 and 145.

Jason Garrett got offered the Raven's job. He's gone imo.

I agreed with your assessment though. Terrible, terrible playcalling.

And the NFL forums are just ruthless... they are mocking TO badly. Poor guy can't win.

If New England and Green Bay win, I hope there's a freak snowstorm in Phoenix the weekend of February 3. It'd be totally appropriate for these two teams.

And at last it's New England vs New York for Super Bowl XLII.
What do you think, will Giants finish Pats' hopes perfect season one step from the goal?
I sure hope they will. Don't know why I don't like Pats, although they are great team and play very well - but they were also lucky in some regular season games.

Every game over the last month and a half has shown chinks in New England's armor. No team has yet been able to put them all together and come up with the gameplan to beat them. To beat perfection, you have to execute perfectly, and the Giants will have to not only play mistake-free football in Glendale, but they'll have to come at the Patriots with different things.

Going into the Super Bowl with the same gameplan they had against the Pats back in December thinking they almost had them that time so they can do it again will be a huge mistake in my book.

I agree, but I still think that Giants have a chance, but it would not be easy.
Still, I would bet my money on Pats.

I still can't believe that Favre threw that interception in OT...poor guy. I hope he comes back for at least another year.

"Collar turned up, back straight, chest stuck out, he glided into the arena as if he owned the fucking place. Any arena, but nowhere more effectively than Old Trafford. This was his stage. He loved it, the crowd loved him" -Roy Keane on Eric Cantona
