Ronnie could leave - agent | City opens talks -

Let the speculation begin. Yet again.
Every player has a dip in form. No player is exempt from this. Why Barcelona fans, management and the media have given him such a hard time is ridiculous.
Since Henry has come to Barca, it seems that Dinho has been lower on the depth charts for the left side. Which is ridiculous.
I hope that either his situation is straighten out there so he can continue to be productive member for Barcelona or find a club that will maximize his talents.
Just to make this a lil bit more interesting, I'll add a poll about where he will end up.

Assis reveals 'strained' relationship with Barca
Ronaldinho's 'strained' relationship with Barcelona could see the Brazilian star leave the Spanish giants in the summer, according to the player's brother and agent Roberto Assis.
The 28-year-old forward's future at Camp Nou has been the subject of intense speculation over the course of the season as he has struggled for form and fitness.
Milan have been strongly linked with a summer move for the former Paris Saint Germain ace, while Chelsea are also reportedly monitoring his situation.
Ronaldinho came under further pressure when recent scans revealed he was not carrying a thigh injury, despite the player's claims to the contrary.
And in light of his seemingly eroding relationship with Barca, Assis has revealed that he is considering invoking article 17 of Fifa's transfer regulations as the value of the release clause in his contract is thought to be prohibitively high.
Criticism
Article 17 allows players to buy out the remainder of their contract under certain circumstances and would likely prove a cheaper option.
Assis told GloboEsporte.com: "The possibility of Ronaldinho leaving Barcelona is always there.
"We are aware of the release clause, but we also know about the existence of article 17. Anything is possible.
"In football, results determine how things go. Barcelona have not won anything since last season and, as Ronaldinho is the star of the team, he is the one who is given the worst criticism."
Assis did not rule out the possibility of Ronaldinho moving to fierce rivals Real Madrid, saying: "It has already happened a number of times, even to big names such as Luis Figo.
"However, I don't like to name specific clubs."
Strained
Assis added that Ronaldinho could stay at the Camp Nou should Barca lift either the Primera Liga or UEFA Champions League title come the end of the season.
He said: "The relationship is strained, but imagine if Barca win the Champions League. They wouldn't let him go if he was a champion, would they?
"With their hands on a title, everything would be different."
I think he should leave in summer. There are many clubs which would love to have him in the squad.
It's hard for him because there is a great competition at Barca and maybe Rijkard has neglected him lately.
But from another point of view, he might be exhausted. He worked hard during the season when they won the CL and PD. I could say that none of his teammates worked as much as he did that season.
I wouldnt necessarily say he would join Chelsea just for the money. Of the 4 big clubs in England I think they are about the only one who could use him considering Utd are stacked, he's too old for Arsenal, and Liverpool are Liverpool (added to the fact he really would still be remaining in Spain if he joined them). Chelsea already have claimed to not be going after him thoguh I'm sure theyd still be interested but he'd have to give and take a little. Then again I wouldnt be surprised if they gave him 200k/wk so I suppose your right...

I am right, step back and have a look at his situation, if Chelsea start waving a carrot of a ridiculous wage (which they can afford), of course he's going to take it and join them.
The most reasonable move seems that to Milan.Just imagine the triple cutting attack:Kaka-Ronaldinho-Pato for example. Long ago there were such speculations and the prime choice of the press was Milan,so I would not be too surprised if he joins AC.
Chelsea-Money,a big factor for playing there? No.This player needs to leave in order to fresh some of his game, because he looks like a mediocre player today at Camp Nou.
Finally, the third one and the last -Staying in Catalonia,if the coach leaves:Ronaldinho gets his career back on track.

Then he'll be making the biggest mistake of his life. He'll end up like Ballack.
I think he is smart enough to choose a club were he'll be happy.
ballack took his time but he is now starting to come good. He put on a few steady performances.
Whether or not he should leave i really dont know because i dont really follow barca much but i do think that this business is really fickle. I remember when ronaldinho was deemed priceless.

The name of this thread keeps throwing me.... I originally came here to flame out about more of these damnable "Ronaldo might leave" rumour/BS threads. You can interpret that as a thread renaming request if you like.
However, since we're on the subject, I don't think he'll be coming to the EPL. I can see him staying in Spain, or perhaps going to Italy, but I don't think he'll be showing up in England any time soon.
