i dont see this happening. i dont think willy fancies his chances in england. i think he'd prefer spain or italy if he were to leave. and i dont think bayern are planning on selling either.

Well i wouldn't see why we'd go for him.....but i don't think he's a bad player at all. Always liked him in PES.

i heard this a few times and weve been linked with him a few times before for the last 4 years or so. i think its unlikely he is 30 plus we have the likes of oshea, simpson and brown as cover for neville, who will get his place back once fit.

the conversation was over the left back position and in the same sentence the commentator said that the purchase of evra was the turning point in our fortunes. That alone tells me the guy is clueless. That said, his argument was that we had so many young players that we could be bringing in some grey hair. I'm skeptical.

i dont see why Fergie would buy Sagnol at his age, Fergie should invest in playing Pique and Simpson more often

these rumours still arent going away

Munich's Sagnol on United's wanted list

With Gary Neville still to regain full fitness after an injury absence of more than eight months, United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been alerted to Sagnol's probable availability for a knockdown fee in January.

The 30-year-old France defender would be a short-term solution to the need for cover at right back with his quality not in doubt.

Ferguson had him under close scrutiny last year and is now ready to make his move and give Neville time to complete his recovery.

30 is old, but he can still for a job at united i suppose. I am not sure we desperately need him to be fully honest though. NEville will apparently be back in 2 weeks or so and has been like that for nearly a year. We have Wesley Brown. We have Simpson. We also have pique, oshea and hargreaves who can all play in that position if we really need them to.

Sagnol is a very good player who still has some years in him, but i have to say, im not sure if we need him.

He is a good player! I think we have to consider the Right Back position sometime soon! Wes Brown has done brilliantly so far this season, Gary Neville is on the wrong side of 30! but Willy Sagnol will only be a cover at most, I dont think he will come to sit on the bench! But like in previous seasons, it has been difficult to buy in January!
