I have heard so many good things about this game its ridiculous.

Considering I do not have a ps3 or xbox360 (will make a purchase in the upcoming months), which system would you recommend this game for?

Ugh...I've got to get this. I rarely buy a game at full price, so I've been waiting for this to drop on ebay to about 35, but I may just suck up the other 10-15 because I, too, have heard excellent things about it. I'm not really into realistic shooters, but this does look like loads of fun.

As for which system to get it on, I really have no idea. I have a 360 and it's great, but I am comparing that to nothing. I hear that PS's online is inferior, but, again, I don't know from experience.

i've been looking for a multiplayer game to play. UT3, while ihave always been a major advocate of the UT genre, is a little...dated. I'm not sure how much I like it. Super fast, faster than I remember it being. I think I'm ready for something new.

I hear good things about Crysis, but more about the single player, and I hate single player games.

any other recommendations?

Seeing as i only have this on 360, I would recommend getting it. I've never attempted any missions on the game itself yet, I've just played it on Xbox Live, and i love it. My mate has it for the PS3 and he's says it awesome as well, I'd have to play it to give a review on it for the PS3 however, but i definatly recommend getting the game no matter what console you get.

I have it for Xbox 360 and I highly recommend it especially since you can play on Xbox Live. It is crazy fun on Xbox Live compared to the PS3 online. PC is a good option if you are good with a mouse and keyboard and have a good computer and video card.

ive been meaning to get this for a while but i keep forgetting

will have to get this game for sure, it just looks immense. Im not really a big fan of war games, im more into motor sport and footie games but i will make an exception with COD, and halo

I downloaded it off Acid, been playing it with full shebang (AA, AF et al) on, but I fail to find anything good, except for the graphics. I'm talking about the single player version.

This is a classic case of FarCryism. You play Far Cry, and then you're unable to play any other game because you're expectations are so high. F.E.A.R, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, UT3, Hitman 4, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Crysis, all dumped. Ah well, Far Cry 2 is scheduled to be released this year!

BioShock was good, but I got tired of killing the little girls.

got it on ps3 a few days ago its fantastic online, though I keep getting pwnd its still fun.

Single player is still a lot of fun but not very long, think it shines in online mode though
